BUNAC's
Summer School China programme offers adventurous and enthusiastic
participants the opportunity to develop their leadership
skills by working on activity-based summer camps in areas
such as Beijing or Shanghai.
China
is the 3rd largest country in the world, and is fast becoming
one of the biggest global economies. A colourful past and
a diversity that combines natural beauty, historical landmarks
and exciting, modern development, has made China one of
the most exciting destinations of the 21st Century.
Summer
School China lasts for 6 weeks and starts with a one-week
training and orientation schedule that helps you prepare
for life on camp. You'll work for 2 weeks on your first
summer school placement, followed by a week off to transfer
to your second camp region where you'll complete the placement.
Duration
Once
you have completed the 6 weeks on Summer School China, you
will be free to explore this amazing country including cities
such as Beijing, Hong Kong and Xian, and attractions that
include the Forbidden City, Great Wall of China and Terracotta
Warriors.
Requirements
On Summer
School China you must be a permanent resident of the UK,
aged at least 18, educated to A Level standard, able to
demonstrate excellent command of spoken and written English
and be interested in the Asian culture.

/ Salary / Costs
The
programme cost is £975 and includes visa processing, transfers
(from the airport and from the training centre to your placements),
accommodation and meals for the duration of the training
period/placements, basic Mandarin lessons, an allowance
of 2000RMB (approximately £130) and 24/7 support from BUNAC.
