We welcome people from all walks of life to participate in these placements.

Due to Poverty and Aids Kenya creates an orphan every five minutes. With the struggle to survive and make ends meet children are often taken to children's homes. Unwanted pregnancies still occur every day in the slum areas from where many of these children come.

The social services also find children dumped onto the streets or simply left on the doorsteps of orphanages. As the numbers have an are increasing the strain on children's homes is immense. With limited government funds they lack income, resources and staff.

The most important factor is to have a caring nature, be enthusiastic and not mind helping with washing and other labour intensive tasks. Volunteers providing support is often hard work but very rewarding as many of these orphans have no known family and get such little attention.
