to the northeast, and Chaoyang prefecture of Liaoning

city has an area of 90,275 kmē and a population of 4.48
million (2004). The distance between Beijing and Chifeng
is about 500km. Chifeng has been named as natural museum
with diverse creatures; it is a famous tourism city.
The

by grasses 20,000 square Kilometers has been covered
by tree and 23% is forest.
